On popular demand, Raj Mehta's Jug Jugg Jeeyo has been re-released in theatres today, August 15. This comes in the wake of the underwhelming box office performances of Aamir Khan'-Kareena Kapoor Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar's Raksha Bandhan. Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which was a box office success and has released on June 24, stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Prajakta Koli and Maniesh Paul.
Dharma Productions took to Twitter to announce the happy news of the film's re-release. Their post read, "#JugJuggJeeyo India! You asked. We heard. They’re back on the big screens! Celebrating the strong bond of family starting from this #IndependenceDay and through the festive week - as the JugJugg Jeeyo parivaar comes back to the big screens!."

JugJugg Jeeyo, which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, talks about two couples belonging to different generations and their relationship issues post-marriage.
Jug Jugg Jeeyo has collected Rs 85 crore net at the domestic box office and its worldwide gross collection stands at 135 crores.
