Social media negativity spares none. This was proven once again when a section of people on Twitter slammed Vijay Deverakonda for putting his feet up on a table while talking to the media. During a press conference in Hyderabad for Liger, the pan-India heartthrob kept his feet on a table in order to establish a more personal and casual equation with a journalist.
During the press conference, the journalist asked Vijay if he is a Bollywood star, and whether he would speak with the media with the same comfort. Making the journalist comfortable, Vijay told him that he could stretch his legs and talk to him freely. While conveying that, the actor put his legs on the table and everyone in the room laughed.
Hours after getting trolled and being called 'arrogant', Vijay reacted on Twitter. He wrote, "Anybody trying to grow in their field will always have a Target on their back – But we fightback :) And when you are honest, yourself and want the best for everyone – The love of people and God will protect you."
