Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 for the second time. The veteran actor, who is currently shooting for the 14th season of the popular and longest-running quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, confirmed the news on his Twitter handle.
On Tuesday night, Mr Bachchan shared the news of testing positive for the virus and requested those who came in touch with him in the last few days to get themselves tested. He tweeted, "I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also."

On July 11, 2020, Mr Bachchan along with Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan had tested positive for COVID-19. The veteran actor and Abhishek were admitted to a hospital in Mumbai for treatment. After almost a month, the Guru actor recovered and returned home. The megastar was in the hospital till August 2, 2020.
Workwise, Mr Bachchan will be seen in Brahmastra, Uunchai, Goodbye and Project K.
