Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday's Liger released in theatres on August 25 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Days after its release, the makers dropped in a song from the film. Titled Mera Banega Tu, it is sung by Lakshay Kapoor.
Sharing the sweet romantic song, the official Instagram handle of Dharma Productions wrote, "Socha na tha that a song could make us fall in love with 'love' all over again! #MeraBanegaTu out now!"
Liger stars Vijay as a mixed-martial arts boxer with a stutter, Ananya as his girlfriend, and Ramya Krishnan as his mother. It marked Vijay's debut in Bollywood. The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh. It is backed by Puri and Charmme Kaur's banner Puri Connects and Karan Johar-led Dharma Productions.
