The annual Venice Film Festival which began August 31 and came to a conclusion close this Saturday, was full of glamour and shine along with being a spawning ground for indie blockbusters and a season of awards. Several A-listers showed up on the red carpet to work with some top stylists and fashion houses and showcased some of their best creations that inspired the exquisite top-of-the-chain artwork and creations showcased during the event.

Florence Pugh in Valentino
Florence looked incredible in this Valentino autumn / winter 2022 collection sheer dress. The dress featured a sheer black corset-like bodice that extended out into an extravagant cape. Dotted with glittering confetti, the dress formed oversized sleeves and long trail of fabric. She paired the dress with black heels that featured feather detailing. The silver jewellery coordinated with the overall look pretty well.
Gemma Chan in Louis Vuitton
The custom Louis Vuitton gold sequin column gown styled with Louis Vuitton high jewellery collection is what dreams are made of. The 3-D flowers on the dress enhanced the details and made it look dreamy. She opted for subtle makeup and a bun which complimented her look.
Sydney Chandler in Saint Laurent
A classic beauty. She looked absolutely divine in a one shoulder plain black gown from Saint Laurent. Sydney carried this look so effortlessly with simple makeup and hair. She also added some bracelets and rings to finish off the look.
Harry Styles in Gucci
Harry Styles opted for various shaded of blue for his red-carpet look. Designed by Gucci this suit featured pointed shoulder, tailored waist, large buttons, and especially his pale blue shirt which he wore underneath had exaggerated collars which made the overall look retro. Lastly, he paired the look with white boots, oversized sunglasses, and handfuls of rings.
Jodie Turner-Smith in Harbison
Making a bold statement in blue, Jodie definitely made some heads turn around with this look. She wore a gown designed by Harbison studio, was sleek and form-fitting. It had a plunging neckline with a chest band seemingly made of sequins and satin. She paired her oversized satin cape with black gloves, a Bulgari ring, and a matching necklace.
Timothee Chalamet in Haider Ackermann
Matching with the red carpet, Timothee donned silky, all-red outfit. His dress incorporated a backless halter neck top and matching trousers. Chalamet accessorised the look black pointed toe-boots and sunglasses.
Tessa Thompson in Christopher John Rogers
Tessa Thompson wore a neon-green gown paired with a 1950s style veil. The outfit was comprised of a corset, bustier tank top, and a ruched skirt that gave off the look of a train that had been pinned up in the back. She wore her hair in a single long braid with a black veil headband.
Olivia Wilde in Gucci
Spotted in all Gucci look, Olivia looked so pretty. She wore a custom floor length gown for her red-carpet appearance which included jewellery. In addition, the dress featured a plunging neckline, the dress’ hem was lined with fabric that looked like feathers. It also featured chains across the bodice and shoulders.
Sadie Sink in Alexander McQueen
Sadie Sink wore a sparkling gown with waist cut-outs, and we must say, this was a show-stealer look. The sleeveless gown which had silver beading that covered its bralette top and connected to its floor length skirt.
Penélope Cruz in Chanel
She wore an all-black look from the house of Chanel. It had a sweetheart neckline, wide shoulder straps, and a fitted bodice that extended into an embellished and textured skirt. She kept her hair tied up, which showed off the top of her dress and her accessories were kept simple with rings and earrings.
Jullianne Moore in Celine
A simple yet stunning look. Jullianne’s one-shouldered Celine gown was relatively shapeless, but she still brought the drama with a slit that went from her shoulder to her chest. She added Cartier jewellery to finish off the look. Simple hairdo and diamond earrings were cherry on top.
Laura Harrier in Saint Laurent
Laura Harrier red-carpet dress looked like dipped in liquid gold. The YSL long sleeved dress with a keyhole slit from the neck to the middle of her torso suited her very much. The dress also featured the front tie that flowed down to the floor. She wore strappy heels and carried a small clutch bag to match the whole look.
Alessandra Ambrosio in Ermanno Scervino
Alessandra Ambrosio was seen making a statement in pink dress from the Italian label Ermanno Scervino. Ambrosio’s silk chiffon gown featured a fitted bodice accented with floral appliqué designs, thigh-high slits and a matching cape.
