Falguni Pathak has taken a sly dig at Neha Kakkar for recreating her iconic song Maine Payal Hai Chhankai. Neha's new music video titled O Sajna has not gone down well with the ace singer. After reposting a couple of Instagram stories criticizing Neha’s remix version, Falguni has opened up about her views on O Sajna.
“I feel overwhelmed and touched on receiving so much love from all over for the song, so had to share their feelings," Falguni told a Bollywood website about reposting reels and posts slamming Neha's recreation. Falguni also shared that she wasn’t approached by the makers of O Sajna. Falguni had also re-shared a story by her fan that asked her to sue Neha. When asked about the same, Falguni said, “I wish I could but the rights are not with me."

When further prodded if the makers or Neha tried to reach out to her after seeing her Instagram stories about the remixed version, the Dandiya Queen simply said, “No." The original song was released in 1999 and it featured television actor Vivan Bhatena. The song was played out as a puppet show in a college fest. The song was a massive hit with fans listening to it even today.
Neha finally broke the silence on Instagram this morning about the entire controversy. She simply penned a note counting her blessings and thanking her fans. The singer penned, "How I feel today... Very few people in the world get what I have received in life that too in such a young age. This kind of fame love, countless superhits, superduper hit TV shows, world tours, fans from little kids to 80-90 years old and what not. You know why I got all this? Because of my talent, hard work, passion and positivity. So, today I just wanna thank God and each one of you for giving me what I have today. Thank you, I am the most blessed child of God. Thank you again. Wishing you all a lifetime of happiness."
