Besides Ajay, Shriya and Tabu, Drishyam 2 also stars Akshaye Khanna, Rajat Kapoor and Ishita Dutta. The first look and teaser will be shared tomorrow. The film is directed by Abhishek Pathak and produced by T-Series and Panorama Studios. Drishyam was the official Hindi remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam hit of the same name. It was also remade in Tamil titled Papanasam, wherein Kamal Haasan played the main lead stepping into Mohanlal’s shoes.
Mohanlal's Drishyam 2 has already been released in Malayalam to rave reviews. It is unclear whether Ajay's film will be a remake or have a different story. Drishyam 2 is slated to release on November 18, 2022.
