With the chants of Jai Shree Ram, the teaser of Om Raut's second Hindi directorial, Adipurush, was launched on the banks of Sarayu in Ayodhya today. Headlined by Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, the film is a retelling of India's greatest epic Ramayan. It is produced by Bhushan's T-Series and Retrophiles.
The teaser of Adipurush opens with a stunning underwater shot of Prabhas, who plays Lord Ram a.k.a Raghav in the film. We are also introduced to the fiery Lankesh, played by Saif. Kriti, who is Raghav's Janki, brings the much-needed colour and charm to the screen with her beauty and grace.
A day before launching the teaser, the makers of Adipurush unveiled Prabhas' look from the film on social media. Transforming into Lord Ram, Prabhas showed his warrior side on the poster. He can be seen in a dhoti and vest with his hair tied back. Shooting an arrow in the sky, Prabhas has aced the look.
The film also stars Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage and Sonal Chauhan.
