Sridevi's iconic film, English Vinglish, will be completing 10 years this month. Evergreen in many ways, the film directed by Gauri Shinde will be remembered forever for Sridevi's acting brilliance and engaging narrative. One of the key highlights of English Vinglish was the late actress' sarees. Now, as the film completes a decade, Gauri has decided to auction those sarees.

Confirming the same to a leading daily, Gauri told, "We are doing a celebration of the ten years of English Vinglish, so we are doing a screening in Andheri on October 10. We will do a screening, get people in, have a conversation about the film, that’s tentatively the plan. We are also going to auction her sarees, which I had very safely kept till now."

Sridevi made her comeback with English Vinglish. The late actress played the role of a small entrepreneur who is mocked for her lack of English-speaking skills by her husband and daughter.
