Alia Bhatt is expecting her first child with husband Ranbir Kapoor. The couple recently hosted a godbharai ceremony or baby shower for the mom-to-be at their Vastu residence in Bandra. The bash was attended by close family members including Ranbir’s mom Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, aunt Rima Jain and cousins Karisma Kapoor, Nitasha Nanda and sister-in-law Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Alia’s family members including mom Soni Razdan, dad Mahesh Bhatt, sisters Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt and BFF Anushka Ranjan also attended the do. Now, Alia has shared some inside pictures from the baby shower ceremony.
Taking to social media, Alia shared several cute and adorable pictures with hubby Ranbir and captioned them as, “just … love,” with yellow heart emojis. The couple looked oh-so-in-love as they sat next to each other as well as flanked by family members in other pictures. One photo showed them praying to the almighty from the puja ceremony.
The baby shower was held on October 5 and in the pictures a radiant Alia can be seen laughing her heart out as she sits next to Ranbir. In another picture Ranbir can be seen kissing Alia on the cheek.
Meanwhile on the work front, Alia and Ranbir are basking in the success of their last release Brahmastra Part One: Shiva that was directed by Ayan Mukerji and also starred Mouni Roy, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Amitabh Bachchan and Dimple Kapadia. The film was produced by Karan Johar under his production banner Dharma Productions.
