The fifth film in the Housefull franchise is already in the works. Reportedly, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is looking for a kickass script for the film and will be bringing five heroes to star in his ensemble. As per an online portal, Housefull 5 will have Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Bobby Deol in the lead. The film will be the biggest one in the franchise, as per the report.
The online portal quoted a source that said Sajid wants to bring the entire star cast of Housefull franchise together for the fifth installment. The source said, “Sajid Nadiadwala has the plan of bringing an entire universe of his Housefull franchise under one roof ever since the release of Housefull 4. He has been trying to crack a plot that justifies the presence of all the characters and he finally has the plot locked. He is currently in the process of finalizing a story and screenplay around his idea.”
The source further said that the producer is taking a personal interest in developing the story of Housefull 5 and will get a top director on board once the script is locked. The source said, “The idea is to take Housefull 5 on floors late next year. Housefull 5 has been in the development stage for quite sometime, and now the ambition is getting closer to reality.”
As per the report, Sajid is not only looking at bringing together all the male leads but female leads as well by churning out some really interesting characters for them. The portal further quoted the source, “Imagine the madness, confusion, and comedy of errors with so many characters in the Housefull setup. It’s a house filled with actors.”
For the unversed, Housefull franchise was started by Sajid and Akshay in 2010 followed by a sequel each in 2012, 2016, and 2019.
