There were rumours that Arjun Kapoor is in talks with the makers of Pushpa: The Rule for the character of a cop. The sequel of the film, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, will go on floors by the end of this month. Amid speculations, the producer of Pushpa: The Rule, Naveen Yerneni, told an entertainment portal that Arjun isn't doing the film.
The producer told, "Fahadh Faasil is doing the role. So it’s hundred percent false news. We will start shooting (for Pushpa 2) from this month end. Between 20th and 30th we will start the shoot. Initially, we will be shooting in Hyderabad and then we will go to the forest and other locations."
Pushpa: The Rule's mahurat pooja was held in Hyderabad on August 22. The actors are yet to share their looks from the sequel.
Pushpa: The Rule is expected to orbit around the face-off between Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, who was introduced as the antagonist in Pushpa: The Rise. Its release date is yet to be announced.
