Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt started their respective career together with Student Of The Year in 2012 but over a period of time, they became more than just co-stars. Rumours were rife that the actors dated each other for a couple of years before calling it quits. They reportedly dated while working on their second film together, Kapoor & Sons (2016). It seems while dating Alia, Sidharth gifted the actress her pet cat, Edward.
In a recent interview, Sidharth dropped in a major hint at the fact that he was the one to gift Edward to Alia. When asked to name one thing he learned from his last relationship, Sidharth said, "I think I learned from my last relationship, don't gift pets." Asked about one thing he would want to steal from Alia, Sidharth shared, "The cat, Edward."
This isn't the first time that Sidharth spoke about a 'cat'. During his appearance on Koffee With Karan 7, when Karan Johar asked him to name one thing that he missed about his ex. He mentioned, "Her cat."
Alia is married to Ranbir Kapoor and the couple is expecting their first child this year. Sidharth is rumoured to be dating Kiara Advani, however, the actors are yet to make their relationship official.
