On Thursday, Katrina Kaif celebrated her first Karwa Chauth with her husband Vicky Kaushal and her parents-in-law Veena and Sham Kaushal at their Mumbai residence. The actress dropped in some lovely pictures leaving fans curious to know details of how the festivities looked like at the Kaushals. In an interview with an entertainment portal, Katrina revealed them all.
She told the portal, "The moon was going to be seen in Mumbai at 9:01 and it was not seen, I think, till 9:35. And it’s almost like your mind is prepared for what is expected, but after 9 to 9:30, I was like, ‘I’m hungry! I’m really, really hungry!"

She further shared that Vicky was fasting with her on Karwa Chauth. “The sweetest thing was that, of course, Vicky was also fasting. Yes, he also fasted. It’s not like I asked him to do it all. I didn’t say anything. He did it himself, so that was sweet and of course, our… his parents were also over, so it was our first… because it was our first year of marriage, there’s pooja which happens and all that. So, that was lovely,” Katrina revealed.
Katrina wore a red saree with a printed blouse from the shelves of Sabyasachi. Flaunting her sindoor and mangalsutra, the actress looked stunning. Sharing pictures, she wrote, "Pehla Karva Chauth (sic)."
Vicky and Katrina had a grand yet intimate wedding ceremony in Rajasthan on December 9, 2021.
