‘Will be very much open to all kinds of participation,’ says Kangana Ranaut on joining politics

Kangana Ranaut is one of the few actors in Bollywood who adheres to her views and has an opinion on most things and it does not matter if she ruffles a few feathers when voicing those opinions. After several speculations that she might be interested in a career in politics given her views on social media the actress has finally admitted that she may turn to politics in the near future. At a recent media event, Kangana hinted at joining politics. When asked if she is open to doing public service by entering porlitics, Kangana said that she is open to all kinds of participations.

On being asked about her plan to join politics, Kangana said, "Jis tarah ke haalat honge, government chahegi mera participation ho, vo I will be very much open to all kinds of participation." She further added, "As I said, it would be great if people in Himachal Pradesh would give me a chance to serve. So, definitely, it will be sobhagya ki baat."

This is the first time the actress has openly admitted to seeing politics as an alternate career. Kangana has usually shared her political views in accordance to the ruling party but never openly admitted to eyeing a career in politics.

Meanwhile on the work front, Kangana will be next seen in Emergency. She will be seen essaying the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film also features Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Shreyas Talpade and Milind Soman. She is also directing the film. She will also be seen as a fighter pilot in Tejas and has Tiku Weds Sheru as a producer. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in the lead while Sai Kabir is the director.
