The Bhatts and Kapoors are in a celebratory mood as Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were blessed with a baby girl. Their daughter was born on November 6 in Mumbai. New nani in town, Soni Razdan is overjoyed as her 'baby girl' is now a mother. Recently, when Soni attended the special screening of Uunchai, she spoke to the media for the first time about Alia and Ranbir's daughter.
Talking to the media at the event, Soni expressed her joy and called the little princess kudrat ka daan (nature's blessing). "Aap keh sakte hain yeh ek daan hai, blessing hain, kudrat ka daan hai. We're just very, very happy, thankful and grateful that everything has gone off well," she told.
Soni further shared an update on Alia and the baby's health. She said, "Baby is good, the mother is good. Everybody is safe. Yeh sab darr hota hai jab kisi ka bachcha paida hone wala hai. This is what we pray for that everything should be okay, sab sahi salamat ho jaye. And of course, we are very, very happy."
When asked whether she gave tips to new mommy Alia, Soni shared, "Haan bahut sare tips dete rehte hai.. Ek maa hoon mein, tips kaise nahi doongi, bahut sari tips dee hain. Alia is a mother, she has to discover a lot of things for herself, which she will."
Alia got discharged from the hospital yesterday. She headed home with the newborn baby and Ranbir. Neetu Kapoor was at Ranbir and Alia's Bandra residence to welcome the newest member of the family.
