Allu Arjun & Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa to open 5th Indian Film Festival in Russia on December 1

The 5th edition of the Indian Film Festival 2022 is all set to roll out the red carpet for celebrities in December. Held in 24 Russian cities and organised by the film company, Indian Films along with the Indian National Cultural Centre SITA, the festival is being held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Embassy of India in Russia. The films will be screened in the national cinema network, Cinema Park in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi and other cities. 

Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil's blockbuster film, Pushpa: The Rise will open the 5th Indian Film Festival 2022 on December 1. Allu Arjun, Rashmika, director and screenwriter Sukumar Banreddi and producer Ravi Sankar will be present at the screening which will be held at the Oceania shopping center in Moscow. Before the screening, a cultural program is expected to take place. Later, on December 3, another screening of Pushpa: The Rise has been organised in St. Petersburg.

Apart from Pushpa: The Rise, Indian films like My Name Is Khan (2010), Disco Dancer (1982), RRR (2022), Dangal (2016) and War (2019) will be screened at the 5th edition of the Indian Film Festival 2022.

Meanwhile, the makers of Pushpa have started shooting for the film's sequel. Titled Pushpa: The Rule, the film is expected to release in theatres next year.
