Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday starrer Dream Girl 2 has rescheduled its release date. The film will now release on July 7, 2023 from its previous release date of June 29, 2023. Dream Girl 2 was earlier clashing at the box office with Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Satyaprem Ki Katha but will now face-off Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna’s Yodha which has also rejig its release date today.
While the reason for a change in release date is not known, it is speculated that a possible cause could be Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan that hits screens on June 2, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush (June 16, 2023) and Kartik -Kiara’s Satyaprem Ki Katha (June 29, 2023).

Dream Girl 2 is written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa who also helmed the first installment. The first installment was released in 2019 and had Nusshrratt Bharuccha opposite Ayushmann and was one ofthe most successful romcoms of the year.
Dream Girl 2 is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures will now release on July 7, 2023.
