In 2021, Rohit Shetty assured his fans that his much-celebrated cop universe will get its female cop soon. He kept his promise. The filmmaker, known as Bollywood's hit machine, confirmed that the first female cop will feature in his next film, Singham Again. The actress who will play the role is none other than Deepika Padukone.
During the launch of Cirkus' first song Current Laga Re, Rohit announced that Deepika will share the screen space with Ajay Devgn as the lady cop. Not just this, Deepika's husband, actor Ranveer Singh, will also have a cameo in the third part of Singham.
Deepika reunited with Rohit after Chennai Express for the song Current Laga Re. She has danced with her husband Ranveer in the peppy track. The song was much-awaited and it premiered this afternoon on social media.
Cirkus releases on December 23.
