James Cameron's highly anticipated Avatar: The Way Of Water is here. The film is performing incredibly well at the domestic as well as global box office. With rave reviews and pre-release excitement among movie-goers, Avatar's sequel is making the right amount of noise. However, the film recently made headlines for an unfortunate reason.
According to reports, a young man from Andhra Pradesh's Kakinada district died of a heart attack while watching Avatar: The Way of Water. Reportedly, a person named Lakshmireddy Srinu had gone to watch the film with his younger brother, Raju, in a theatre in the Peddapuram area of the Kakinada district. Despite rushing him to a nearby hospital, he couldn't be saved.
As per reports, the police investigated eyewitnesses who claimed Srinu felt pain in his chest while watching Avatar: The Way Of Water and collapsed in the theatre. It was reportedly discovered that he was a patient of high blood pressure. The doctors observed that the film could have caused severe excitement, which led to a heart attack.
In 2009, when Avatar released, a person in Taiwan reportedly passed away under similar circumstances. He was said to be in his mid-40s and reportedly had heart-related issues.
