Ahead of her acting debut, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's daughter Suhana Khan is honing her skills at home. After wrapping up the shoot of her first film The Archies, Suhana spent her Tuesday taking some inspiration from a special journal, written by her father for her. She posted a glimpse of the journey on Instagram and one of its pages dates back to 2014.
The first page of the diary read, "This journal belongs to Suhana Khan, by Papa." A blank page from the diary read, "On acting". Sharing the post, she wrote, "Tuesday Inspiration". Reacting to Suhana's post, Shah Rukh wrote in the comments section, "Everything I don’t know of acting I have put it there for you to learn and teach me back, little one."
Now, an old video of SRK has surfaced online in which the actor is seen sharing with Anupam Kher on a talk show about what he has penned in the journal. Shah Rukh appeared as a guest on Anupam's show, Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai, in 2014. In conversation with the veteran actor, SRK revealed how he planned to write a book on acting for Suhana. "Yes, only for her. I am writing my personal experiences in 3-4 short lines. I feel like writing it for her. Because I think I need to tell someone how I act. When I try to tell about it to my co-actors, they avoid that. So I want my daughter to read that book and learn from it," he said.

Back then, SRK had mentioned he wanted Suhana to become an actor. "I really want my daughter to be an actor. So I have decided that no one else listens to me, my daughter is young, so as a form of respect, she will read the book which I am writing for her. Whenever something comes into my heart about acting, I write it down," Shah Rukh added.
