Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone & John Abraham's Pathaan becomes India's first film to release in ICE format

The preparations for the grand release of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham's Pathaan are in full swing. Marking the return of the King of Bollywood to silver screens, Yash Raj Films is leaving no stone unturned to make January 25, 2023, an eventful day. Now, according to a new statement issued by YRF, Pathaan will be India's first film to release in the newly introduced ICE (Immersive Cinema Experience) format.

The spy thriller will release in ICE theatres in India. This format has side panels in theatres along with the main screen. It allows the creation of a peripheral vision, giving the audience a sense of enhanced immersion with a background contrast of colours and motion. As of now, there are only two ICE theatres open in India. One is based in Promenade Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi and the other at PVR Ambience Mall, Gurugram.
