It's a happy new year for Ranbir Kapoor fans! The makers of his upcoming film, Animal, unveiled his first look from the thriller on social media as the clock struck 12. The first look poster has created waves across the fraternity.
In the poster, Ranbir sported a rugged look. Holding a bloodied axe, the actor can be seen injured. Sharing the poster, the makers wrote on Instagram, "Brave & ready to take over 2023! It’s the year of #Animal."
Ranbir will be sharing the screen space with Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri for the first time. The thriller also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in the lead. Parineeti Chopra was announced as the leading lady, however, she got replaced by Rashmika.
Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is scheduled to release in theatres on August 11, 2023. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar's T-Series, Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures.
