'Superstar' Akshay Kumar faces 'superfan' Emraan Hashmi in Selfiee, first motion poster out

Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi have teamed up with Raj Mehta for the official Hindi remake of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjarammoodu's Malayalam film Driving Licence. Titled Selfiee, the film is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The makers finally shared the first glimpse of the world of Selfiee on social media.

Karan's production house unveiled the first motion poster of Selfiee on social media today. Sharing the poster, the producer wrote, "Superstar aur Superfan ki aisi kahaani, aap ne suni naa hogi kahin! Dekhiye #Selfiee in cinemas on Feb 24th."

Selfiee also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty. The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, (late) Aruna Bhatia, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta and Listin Stephen in association with Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames and Cape Of Good Films.

Akshay plays the role of a superstar and Emraan is his superfan. Driving Licence is about a superstar who needs a driving licence urgently. His fan, a Motor Vehicle Inspector, delivers it to him illegally. However, things don't go smoothly between them which leads to major chaos.
