Rakhi Sawant and Adil Khan Durrani stepped out together to meet the paparazzi for the first time after the news of their nikaah broke out. Putting an end to the drama, Adil confirmed his marriage with Rakhi. While talking to a group of paparazzi, the actress revealed Salman Khan called her husband and saved her marriage.
For the unversed, after pictures of their nikaah went viral, Adil denied getting married to Rakhi. The actress broke down in front of a group of paparazzi on Saturday. On Monday, while interacting with the paparazzi, she said, "Bhai (Salman Khan) inko bohut pyaar karte hai. Bhai se mile bhi hai. Definitely bhai ka phone toh aaya hi hai inko. Aap jaante hi hai karwaya hi hai."
Rakhi further added, "Bhai ke hote huye yeh mana kar sakte hai kya behan ko shaadi ka? Bhai ka phone ayega tabhi toh ho sakta hai na kuch."
Adil also spoke about Salman when asked by the paparazzi. He shared, "He is very nice, he is humble. He told me a few things. I told okay. Aisa kuch nahi hai." Rakhi added, "Mera bhai Salman ne mera ghar basa diya."
After a lot of drama, Adil finally confirmed on Monday that he got married to Rakhi. Sharing a picture from the nikaah ceremony, he wrote, "So here’s an announcement finally, I never said I am not married to you Rakhi. Just had to handle a few things so had to be quiet, happy married life to us Rakhi (pappudi)."
Rakhi and Adil got married in July 2022.
