Man calls himself 'Sooryavansham Pidit', writes letter to channel asking them to stop the telecast of Amitabh Bachchan's cult film

Amitabh Bachchan's Sooryavansham has catered to audiences of all age groups. Thanks to its regular telecast on SET Max. While there are ardent fans of the film, some people are naturally bored of watching it repeatedly. Now, a man penned a note to SET Max requesting them to stop telecasting Sooryavansham.

The letter was shared by renowned paparazzo Viral Bhayani on Instagram. In the letter, the 'Sooryavansham Pidit' person said that he and his family know everything about Heera Thakur and his family by heart. He further stated that under the RTI act, he wanted to ask a few questions from the channel. He posed questions like how many times to date the channel telecasted Sooryavansham, how many times will it be telecast in the future and if it affects his mental state then who should be held responsible?

Sooryavansham revolves around Bhanupratap Singh and his son Heera Thakur. The son doesn't share a good relationship with his father due to his illiteracy. However, he desires to fulfill his father's dream of building a hospital. 

The film stars Mr. Bachchan in dual roles. It also stars Soundarya, Rachna Banerjee, Anupam Kher, Mukesh Rishi and Kader Khan. Released in 1999, Sooryavansham is directed by E.V.V. Satyanarayana.
