Kartik Aaryan was hunting for a house in Mumbai for quite some time now but it looks like the actor has finally found an abode that he truly liked. Reportedly, the actor will now reside in Shahid Kapoor’s sea-facing apartment in Juhu. Kartik has taken over Shahid’s apartment for a whopping Rs 7.5 lakh per month. Shahid used to stay in the said apartment with his wife Mira Rajput, and their kids, Misha and Zain, untils September 2022, but moved out as they wanted a bigger place with their kids growing up. Shahid moved to a duplex overlooking the Bandra-Worli sea link.
Shahid has leant the apartment situated in Praneta Building on Juhu Tara Road to Kartik. The apartment is spread over 3,681 sq.ft on the ground floor and basement with two parking spaces in the compound. The 36-month lease transaction was done on January 12, 2023 for a period of 36 month. The transaction was done between Shahid’s wife Mira and Kartik’s mother Mala Tiwari, according to documents accessed by an online portal.
As per the rent agreement papers, there will be a 7% increase in the rent per year which means that Kartik will have to pay Rs 8.02 lakh monthly in 2024 and Rs 8.58 lakh monthly in 2025. Kartik has paid Rs 45 lakh security deposit for Shahid’s apartment.
