Athiya Shetty is all set to marry her longtime beau KL Rahul. According to reports, the much-awaited wedding will take place on January 23 at the Shettys' Khandala farmhouse. Ahead of the big day, there were videos floating on social media of a building lit with lights and many claimed that Rahul resides in the said building.
However, Rahul doesn't reside in that building. Sources clarified the same and informed that the wedding preparations are in full swing but in Khandala and not Mumbai. On the other hand, the building that's shown to be decorated will be Mana and Suniel Shetty's new abode in the next couple of months. The Shettys are looking forward to shifting to the apartment by the end of 2023.
While many assumed that the building was getting decked up for Athiya and Rahul's wedding, the source close to the development informed that another wedding is taking place in the same building, hence the lights were put up. It has nothing to do with the star couple's marriage.
Athiya, the daughter of Mana and Suniel Shetty, is an actress and has been dating Rahul, a cricketer, for quite some time now.
