As we celebrate the success of Pathaan, let's take a look at the best 5 moments from the event. From Shah Rukh singing Ajab See from Om Shanti Om for Deepika to John calling the superstar an emotion, here's what unfolded at the do.

Shah Rukh Khan sings for Deepika Padukone

Recreating Shantipriya and Om's romance on the stage, Shah Rukh painted the town red by singing Ajab See from Om Shanti Om for Deepika. The moment was indeed magical!

John Abraham calls Shah Rukh Khan 'an emotion'

During the success meet, John went on to praise his co-star. He told, "I got the opportunity to work with Shah Rukh. He’s not an actor anymore; he’s an emotion. It’s beautiful. That is why I wanted to kiss him a lot. It’s been a beautiful experience."

Shah Rukh Khan's mantra on success & failure

Shah Rukh has been an inspiration to millions who look up to him for life mantras. As he addressed the media and fans at the event, the superstar shed light on the years he remained absent from the big screen. "The four years that I had… Covid had good and bad parts. I didn’t work. I was with my children. I saw them grow up. My last film had not worked and people had said my movies now won’t work. So, I thought of an alternate career: cooking Italian."

He added, "The three of us didn’t meet the media. We shot it (Pathaan) during Covid-19. We worked very hard. So, we were intensely in work mode. Thank you for supporting the film so much, in spite of the fact that there might have been things that would have helped curtail the happy release of this film. I just want to say there’s so much love from all sides and we can never show enough gratefulness. We thank you on behalf of the film industry for bringing life back to cinemas. In these four days, I’ve forgotten my last four years."

Talking about dealing with failure, the superstar shared, "Everyone has a different way of dealing with failure. There is a special bathroom in my house. Everyone knows I am crying when I'm there. But it's all about the Monday. If the film spoils on a Sunday, then you wake up thinking on Monday that you should work harder now. If the film works, you still wake up on Monday thinking that now I will have to prove myself again for my next. So, Monday is about getting back to the business for the industry. I feel responsible that I have let people down. We all put in our best efforts. There are thousands of people related to one film being made and their lives are connected to them. We feel guilty when we let the audience down. Hence, Phir se mehnat karo, labour class bano. If you can't go to set like a labour class person, you shouldn't be in movies."

Pathaan 2

Director Siddharth confirmed, "Pathaan aayi hai hit hui hai toh uske baad kya banegi!" Shah Rukh added, "Working in Pathaan was such a big experience and I am quite serious today. The love and success of the film have brought happiness to my family, friends, and all those close to me after a long time. So if you ask me, then I am quite happy about the opportunity given to me. And Inshallah, whenever Siddharth wants to do Pathaan 2, I am in. I am ready to grow my hair till hips this time for the sequel. I will try my best to give my all for Pathaan 2. It will be my honour."
