There's no stopping for Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham's Pathaan. The spy thriller directed by Siddharth Anand is creating new records globally ever since its release in January. Now, according to reports, the box office collection of Pathaan in the US has surpassed the total collections of SS Rajamouli’s RRR.
Reportedly, Pathaan has raked in USD 14.4 million in North America, beating the collections of RRR (USD 14.3 million) to become the second-highest-grossing Indian film in the region, second only to Bahubali: The Conclusion (USD 20 million). Pathaan's total worldwide gross collection is said to have reached Rs 849 crore (India gross: Rs 525.80 crore, overseas: Rs 323.20 crore) on Monday.
Speaking of the United Kingdom, Pathaan has become the highest-grossing Hindi film with a total collection of GBP 3.40 million, beating the earnings of Dhoom 3 (GBP 2.71 million). Reports state that Pathaan has raised $39.41 million in the overseas market (excluding China).
Recently, Pathaan became the highest-grossing Hindi language film across the globe defeating Aamir Khan's Dangal. The YRF-produced film is still running successfully in theatres.
