The Indian film industry hasn't come to terms with Sridevi's demise. She passed away on February 24, 2018. Ahead of her 5th death anniversary, her elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor penned an emotional note and remembered her 'mumma' fondly. She also shared a throwback picture with the legendary actress.
Janhvi remembered her mother Sridevi and the moments she shared with her. Sharing a picture from an event they attended together, she wrote, "I still look for you everywhere mumma, still do everything I do hoping I’m making you proud. Everywhere I go, and everything I do- it starts and ends with you."
On February 8, Sridevi's husband, producer Boney Kapoor announced a biography on the actress. It is titled Sridevi-The Life of a Legend. In an official statement, he said, "Sridevi was a force of nature. She was the happiest when she shared her art on screen with her fans but she was also a fiercely private person. Dhiraj Kumar is who she considered family. He was a researcher, writer & columnist. We are happy that he is writing the book that befits her extraordinary life."
