Hrithik Roshan’s Vikram Vedha stuntman bears an uncanny resemblance to Sushant Singh Rajput; fans can’t keep calm, call him ‘replica of SSR’

A stuntman is an integral part of any action film and more so of a superstar’s life. They are the ones who discard their fears and tackle the more dangerous stunts and fight sequences that the actor does not perform. On Thursday, a paparazzo account shared a throwback photo on Instagram of Hrithik Roshan and his stunt double Mansoor Ali Khan from the sets of the film Vikram Vedha. However, what caught the netizen’s attention was the uncanny resemblance Mansoor bore with Sushant Singh Rajput. Fans could not get over the fact that Mansoor looked a lot like their beloved Sushant who passed away on June 14, 2020, and flooded the comments section talking about the late actor.

The photo featured Hrithik and Mansoor in identical black shirts and trousers as they filmed Vikram Vedha’s fight sequence. Fans said Mansoor looked just like a photocopy of Sushant, only with messy long hair and a beard. A fan commented, “Oh my God, replica of SSR (Sushant Singh Rajput).” Another one wrote, “Stuntman resembles SSR.” Another fan commented, “The fact that he looks like SSR, also his name is Mansoor, Sushant's character's name from Kedarnath (2018)!” One more commented, “Ek pal ko laga Sushant hai Hritik ke sath (for a moment I felt it was Sushant with Hrithik).”Another wrote, “Mujhe Sushant laga pehle.”

The photo was originally posted by Mansoor on Instagram last month as he wished Hrithik on his birthday. He had written, “Happy Birthday bhai Hrithik Roshan. You are a super star with pure heart, so grounded and so humble, so caring, so loving person. You always appreciate and respect others talent!! Also a super friendly human…"

Vikram Vedha also starred Saif Ali Khan and was directed by Pushkar-Gayathri. It was the Hindi remake of their 2017 film of the same name starring R Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Shraddha Srinath. The original film was a box office hit but the Hindi version did not do too well in the theatres.
