Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul were at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh recently. The couple offered prayers at the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The visit came days before Rahul joins the Indian national cricket team for the third Test match in Indore. India will play against Australia from March 1.
In viral videos and pictures, Athiya can be seen dressed in a mustard yellow saree and Rahul wore a saffron dhoti. They offered prayers together. Athiya and Rahul, who tied the knot a month ago, also attended the Bhasma aarti at the Mahakaleshwar temple.

Athiya and Rahul got married on January 23 at her father Suniel Shetty's Khandala farmhouse with limited guests. It was an intimate affair attended by family members and close friends. Suniel confirmed to the media that Athiya and Rahul's reception will be held only after he wraps the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
According to cricket enthusiasts and experts, Rahul isn't in his best form. It is being said that the Indore test is crucial for him as it could possibly be his final opportunity.
