Deepika Padukone is a global star and there's nobody who can deny this fact. After representing India at film festivals like Cannes, the superstar gave a major surprise to her fans today with a special announcement. She is one of the presenters of the Oscars 2023. Joining veterans from around the globe, Deepika will be presenting an award at the upcoming ceremony in Los Angeles.
Deepika will join the likes of Emily Blunt, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Janelle Monáe, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Connelly, Riz Ahmed, Melissa McCarthy among a few others to present an award at the 95th Academy Awards which is happening on March 12, 2023.
In 2023, Deepika took India to the globe by representing the country as one of the Cannes jury members. Towards the end of the year, she flew to Qatar to unveil the FIFA World Cup trophy. Apart from this, Deepika was also named Louis Vuitton's ambassador. She was made the face of the luxury jewellery brand, Cartier.
Workwise, Deepika was last seen in Pathaan, which is still running successfully in theatres even after a month. She will be seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, in Project K with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas and also in Singham Again as the first female cop in Rohit Shetty's cop universe. Apart from that, Deepika had announced the Hindi remake of The Intern.
