Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are known for their disciplined lifestyle. They follow a set regime and rarely deviate from it. Recently, in an interview, Anushka spoke about being 'socially awkward' and said she 'doesn't enjoy going to parties'. The actress further shared that she prefers inviting friends home and savouring home-cooked meals. In the same interview, she recalled being invited home by her neighbours Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal.
Katrina, who worked with Anushka in Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zero, invited her and Virat home for dinner. Recalling the same, Anushka told, "Katrina and Vicky have invited us to their home, but we eat dinner at 6 and we sleep at 9:30. So I said [to Katrina Kaif], for you we’ll eat at 7-7:30 but we have to leave soon. So she’s like okay, y'all have dinner and Vicky and me will have snacks." Vicky and Katrina became Anushka and Virat's neighbours post their wedding in December 2021.
Anushka also opened up about how Katrina and Shah Rukh Khan understand her ‘awkwardness’ and respect it. "The two of them really understand that I’m socially awkward and they accept me that way. That’s the nicest thing that anyone can do in the world," she shared.
Anushka made a cameo appearance in Netflix's film Qala, produced by her brother Karnesh Sharma. It was her first cameo after her daughter Vamika's birth. Her first major project post-delivery is Chakda Xpress, which is yet to release.
