Naatu Naatu was also performed on the Oscars stage by original singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava. Composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose gave a heartfelt speech as they accepted the Best Song award for Naatu Naatu.
On the other hand, producer Guneet and director Kartiki dedicated their win for The Elephant Whisperers to their motherland India, the indigenous people and to women.
