Audiences are waiting with bated breath as Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone reunite with director Siddharth Anand for India’s first aerial action entertainer Fighter after the record-breaking success of their last films together, War & Pathaan. The film also marks Hrithik and Deepika's first onscreen collaboration, a cinematic pair audiences have long been waiting to watch on the big screen

Now, Siddharth has spoken about Deepila's strong part in the film and how she gives a good 'takkar' to Hrithik in it. He told a new website, "I always say this, that my female parts are really strong, and very exciting. Deepika is also playing an Air Force officer in Fighter. She's part of the unit, the elite unit of the Air Force, and it's based on a lot of reality and authenticity. So it's something that Deepika has not played before. She has literally bitten into it and, honestly, it's a lot like her in real life.”

He added that working with Deepika is fun on sets. “Deepika is so much fun on set. And, she's translating that character as a real good ‘takkar’ (competition) to Hrithik’s character. So it's very exciting.”

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles and is scheduled to release on January 25, 2024.
