Actor and politician Kirron Kher on Monday tested positive for COVID-19. Taking to Twitter, Kirron shared the news and informed her fans and followers about contracting the Coronavirus. In her note, Kirron also asked people who came in contact with her to get themselves tested.
She tweeted, "I have tested positive for Covid. So anyone who has come in contact with me please get yourself tested." Several fans sent good wishes to the actress and prayed for her speedy recovery. India logged 699 new cases of coronavirus, while the active cases increased to 6,559, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Tuesday.

For the unversed, in 2021, Kirron was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. She bounced back after her cancer recovery and was one of the judges on the reality show, India's Got Talent.
