Bholaa: Ajay Devgn gives a glimpse of the 6-minute long bike-truck chase sequence shot in 11 days, dedicates it to his father, action choreographer Veeru Devgan

Ajay Devgn is well-known for his action-hero avatar right from his debut film, Phool Aur Kaante when he did a split on two moving bikes. Now, the actor has hit the ball out of the park with his gravity-defying action sequences in his upcoming directorial, action-drama Bholaa which is all set to release on March 30 in 3D and IMAX 3D. This time around, Ajay has taken Indian cinema action to new heights with a 6-minute long bike-truck chase sequence shot in 11 days for Bholaa. Ajay gave a glimpse of the high-adrenaline action sequence by sharing a clip on social media today and dedicated it to his father, the ace action choreographer Veeru Devgan.

At the start of the video, we get to see Ajay’s tribute in which he wrote, “The action of this movie is dedicated to my father, Shri Veeru Devgan the man who taught me all.” The prolonged bike-truck sequence has been painstakingly over 11 days with fighters, specialists and supervisors from India and Europe.

Talking about the stunts, Ajay said, “The action of Bholaa is one of the highlights of the film. The truck-bike chase was the toughest to execute. I wish my dad (Veeru Devgn) was around to see the film. He probably would have given me a pat on the back because he spent his lifetime innovating film action. He was in a league by himself. But, he would have understood where I'm coming from. I must add-somewhere what my father did has stayed with me.”
