According to a media agency's report, the accused named Dhakad Ram Bishnoi (21) is a resident of Siyagon ki Dhani in Rohicha Kalan village under the Luni police station in Jodhpur. On March 18, Salman received an email from Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and Rohit Garg when he was in his office. The complaint was lodged by Prashant Gunjalkar, who often visits the superstar's residence in Bandra and runs an artist management company. Prashant noticed an email received from the ID "Rohit Garg". The sender of the mail, which was written in Hindi, said, "Goldy Bhai (gangster Goldy Brar) wanted to talk to Salman Khan face-to-face to close the matter. Agli baar, jhatka dekhne ko milega."

Amid death threats, Salman's security has been beefed up. For the time being, the Mumbai Police issued an order that his fans won't be allowed to gather outside his Bandra residence to catch a glimpse of the superstar.
