Ravi Kishan says he narrowly escaped casting couch, reveals a woman told him ‘Coffee peene raat mein aayiye’

Renowned actor and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Gorakhpur, Ravi Kishan recently opened up about narrowly escaping the harrowing casting couch in the entertainment industry. In an interview, he spoke about an incident that occurred in the initial days of his career as an actor. 

"Yeah, it happened and this is something that happens in the industry. But I somehow managed to escape. My father had taught me that I should approach my work with honesty, I never wanted to take a shortcut. I knew I was talented," Ravi said in the interview.

Ravi said a woman invited him over for a 'cup of coffee late at night'. He refused to name her as she's a 'big shot' now. "I can’t name her, because she has become a big shot now. She had said, ‘Coffee peene raat mein aayiye’. I thought that is something people prefer to have during the day, so I got the hint and refused, he added. 

Ravi is a popular face in the Bhojpuri film industry too. In Bollywood, he has done films like Hera Pheri, Luck, Bullet Raja, Kick 2 and others. The actor-politician participated in reality shows like Bigg Boss 1, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, and others. He forayed into the OTT space with Rangbaaz, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, and others.
