Anupam Kher has shared a video to showcase the inside of Mumbai’s Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), which was opened for public with a grand launch last night. The inauguration was attended by several Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities as well as industrialists, sportspersons and politicians. Sharing the video on his Instagram, Anupam called NMACC one of the best in the world and said that he was the first guest to enter the magnificent theatre and venue.
Sharing the video, he wrote, “What a SPECTACULAR #CulturalCentre #NitaMukeshAmbani has built in the heart of #Mumbai! Undoubtedly one of the best in the world. So proud to be the 1st guest to enter the newly built auditorium! And attend the inaugural show #CivilisationToNation brilliantly directed by my friend #FerozAbbasKhan. In the video, Anupam shows the interiors of the NMACC with a huge stage that overlooks the massive seating area with additional balconies and an additional floor with the seating area. The theatre has a capacity to hold 2000 guests at the same time. Anupam showered praise on the centre and said, “Duniya ke kisi bhi cultural centre se iska muqabla ho sakta hai, balki main to kahunga aur bhi better hai unse (this can be compete with the cultural centres around the world, I would say this is even better than them),” and called it “desh ki dharohar” (India’s heritage).
The NMACC was inaugurated on Friday night with a star-studded event that saw Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and his family, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani and others in attendance.
