Ananya Panday and Aryan Khan were at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC)'s gala on Saturday. The latter's sister Suhana Khan is the actress' childhood friend and the Khans and Pandays share a great relationship. While fans have been eagerly waiting to see Ananya and Aryan together, there were reports of a tiff between them. A group of netizens assumed that Aryan ignored Ananya at the NMACC gala.
As videos and pictures went viral on social media, a group of netizens felt that Aryan once again ignored Ananya in public. However, putting an end to rumours of a tiff, the Liger actress joined Aryan, Suhana and their mother Gauri Khan for a picture. She also clicked a picture with the Khans and Penelope Cruz at the event. Ananya posted those clicks on her Instagram stories. The actress posed with her best friend Suhana too.

In October last year, Aryan reportedly ignored Ananya for the first time. While the reason wasn't clear, a section of people believed it was the aftermath of the actress confessing her liking for the handsome lad on Koffee With Karan 7. On the couch, she said, "Yeah, he is cute. I had a crush on Aryan." When host Karan Johar asked her, "Why did it not materialise?" Ananya said, "Ask him." Karan then added that it would have been great had the two dated, to which Ananya reacted, "It would be like a movie."
Workwise, Ananya will be seen in Dream Girl 2, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Vikramaditya Motwane's untitled next. She is making her web series debut with Prime Video's Call Me Bae.
