The last few days kept the Mumbai paparazzi on their toes. Nita and Mukesh Ambani hosted a 2-day celebration as their Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) was opened for the public at Bandra-Kurla Complex. The highlight of the celebration was the presence of international celebrities. Star couple Zendaya and Tom Holland attended the event with Gigi Hadid and Penelope Cruz.
Since Thursday, the paparazzi were shuttling from the airport to NMACC to click pictures and record videos of celebrities. They were hopping from one place to another to catch a glimpse of international celebrities. However exhausting it was for them, netizens were certainly in for a ballgame of another level. The Mumbai paparazzi used all their might to make celebrities pose for pictures. Their calls to them were hilarious.
In viral videos, netizens got unlimited entertainers for free as the paparazzi got creative with the names of international celebrities. In one of the videos, one person failed to recognise Gigi Hadid and thought she is Shakira. A paparazzo went on to call Gigi in Marathi and said, "Gigi Didi ikde ikde," and also, "Ikde Ujwi Kade". When Zendaya arrived at the NMACC gala, a person asked who's she. His colleague said, "Tom ki girlfriend hai bhai."
At the airport, a photographer screamed ‘Tom’, ‘Toooooom’ and even ‘Ae Tommy’. When someone called him ‘Tom Homecoming’ on the red carpet of the NMACC gala, the actor smiled. Not just this, they even experimented with Zendaya's name. They invented names like 'Zaandya', 'Jhaandaya' and even 'Jhaandeya' for the actress.
A compilation of these hilariously good viral videos could make for a brilliant comedy show!
