At a press conference in Mumbai on Wednesday, Salman Khan spoke about the content available for viewership on OTT platforms. The superstar highlighted the rise in obscene language, vulgar scenes and violent content that streams on various digital entertainment platforms. While talking to the media, he expressed the need for clean entertainment as streaming services are easily available to children due to no censorship.
During the press conference, Salman told the media, "Sab kuch phone pe aa gaya hai. Ab 15-16 saal ka bachcha dekh sakte hai. Aapko accha lagega aapki chhoti si beti ye sab dekhe padne ke bahane. I just think content should be checked on OTT. Jitna clean hoga content, utna accha hoga, utna uski viewership zyada hogi."
Salman further shared how boundaries of what can be filmed and shown in series and films are getting erased. The superstar said content with love-making scenes and obscene language was gaining ground but now, filmmakers are trying to be more conscious and aware of what's out for viewership.
On the work front, Salman will be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3.
