Alia Bhatt's much-anticipated MET Gala debut kept her fans awake all night. The soiree took place in New York on Monday (May 1; May 2 in India). As always, she did not disappoint her fans and the fashion police. Dressed in a pristine white gown created by Prabal Gurung, it felt like Alia walked straight out of a fairytale. 

Alia shared pictures from her MET Gala debut on Instagram. In the caption, she revealed her outfit for the event was inspired by German model and actress, Claudia Maria Schiffer's 1992 Chanel bridal look.

The actress also shared that the gown was made with 100,000 pearls.
