The much-awaited Cannes Film Festival 2023 is all set to begin on May 16 (today) in the French Rivera. Several Indian celebrities will be representing the country on the global platform this year. It was confirmed that Anushka Sharma and Manushi Chhillar will walk the red carpet.
Now, it has been confirmed that Sara Ali Khan, Mrunal Thakur and Esha Gupta are gearing up for their debut at the Cannes Film Festival. In a statement, Mrunal said, "I am thrilled to be attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. It is an honour to represent Grey Goose on such a prestigious platform. I am looking forward to interacting with global filmmakers, exploring new opportunities, and showcasing the talent that Indian cinema has to offer."
Sara jetted off to the French Rivera last night after launching the trailer of her film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. At the airport, she interacted with a group of paparazzi who requested her to make her popular 'Namaste Darshako' video at the festival. While talking to the group, she said, "Kedarnath se Cannes."
