Nick Jonas finally reacts to being called jiju and Nickwa by paparazzi at NMACC event, says ‘Did hear that, I love India’

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are one of the most popular and loved couples across the globe. The pair was recently in India to attend the inauguration of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai where they posed for paps. Videos from the opening event went viral as the two posed for paparazzi on the pink carpet. However, the photogs stole the show as they kept on calling Nick ‘jiju’ (brother-in-law in Hindi) and even ‘Nickwa’, a sort of endearing nickname. Now, in a recent radio show, the actor-singer reacted to his funny nicknames given by Indian paparazzi and took everything in stride.

The host then played an audio from the event where the paparazzi called him ‘Aey, Nickwa’ and said, “They were calling you something else also. Did you hear that?” Nick very graciously said, “I did hear that. It was very good to be back. I love India. It’s been a couple of years, because of Covid, since I was there. So, this was a fun trip. Great to hear all the nicknames that I have now.”

Nick has been branded the tag of ‘national jiju’ ever since he tied the knot with Priyanka in December 2018. They have a daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
