Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurana's father, astrologer P. Khurrana, breathed his last on May 19 after a prolonged illness. He passed away in Mohali. Recently, the Khuranas hosted a prayer meet for the deceased soul. Sharing pictures from the prayer meet, Ayushmann remembered his father fondly.
He wrote, ""Maa ka khayal rakhna hai aur humesha saath rehna hai. “Pita jaisa banne ke liye bahut duur jaana padta hai apne pita se.” Pehli baar aisa mehsoos ho raha hai ki papa bahut duur aur bahut qareeb hain humare. Thank you for your upbringing, love, sense of humour and the most beautiful memories. Jai jai."
According to Aparshakti's spokesperson, Mr. Khurrana was suffering from an 'incurable ailment'.
