Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan saw history being made as they watched the IPL final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Monday. The two could not help but share their excitement from the stands as Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings beat Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans in a much-delayed late-night finale. The next morning in the wee hours, the two actors headed to Lucknow for the promotions of their upcoming film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke but the late night match took a toll on them.
Sharing a glimpse of the fatigue, Vicky shared Sara sleeping in the car as they made their way towards Lucknow and wrote”Neend hui nahi hai puri, Aapse milna hai zaroori…Nawabo ka sheher hain hum aa rahe, Iss Friday movie jo hum laa rahe!”
Vicky also wrote a post on Dhoni’s CSK win which reads, “Badle tere MAHI… leke jo koi sari, duniya bhi dede agar.. to kise duniya chahiye (even if someone gives the world in exchange of you, who wants that world)!!! MAHI for the win!!! Jaddu you rockstar!!! What a match! GT… the best team through the tournament. Clearly, the game was the real winner. #ipl2023 #iplfinal.”
Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is directed by Laxman Utekar and will release in theatres on June 2, 2023.
